Ingredients

  • 1 medium cabbage, shredded
  • 2 cups grated cheese
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Cook the shredded cabbage until tender, about 10 minutes.
  2. Mix grated cheese, flour, butter, salt, and pepper to form a cheese mixture.
  3. Grease a casserole dish and alternate layers of cooked cabbage and cheese mixture.
  4. Pour milk evenly over the layered casserole.
