Cheese triangles feature a creamy, savory filling with Parmesan, chives, and cayenne, spread on bread, cut into triangles, then frozen and baked for a crispy snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen sandwich bread
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 3 tsp grated onion
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp chopped chives
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except bread until spreadable.
  2. Spread the mixture on frozen bread slices about 1/4-inch thick.
  3. Trim the crusts off the bread slices.
  4. Cut the bread into triangles by dividing into fourths.
  5. Freeze the unbaked triangles on a cookie sheet.
  6. Once frozen, store in a Ziploc bag.
  7. Bake the triangles later by spreading them on a cookie sheet and baking at 375°F for 5 to 10 minutes until light and crispy.
