Ingredients

  • 9-inch baked pie shell
  • 1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 pound hamburger
  • 1/3 cup onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano

Instructions

  1. Microwave ground beef and chopped onions on High for 3 minutes, stirring halfway through; drain well.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, beat together milk, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and oregano.
  3. Stir in beaten eggs and 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese.
  4. Add the cooked ground beef and onion mixture to the bowl and mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a baked 9-inch pie shell in a glass pie plate.
  6. Microwave on High for 6 minutes or on Medium for 7 minutes, rotating 1/4 turn every 3 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  8. Microwave for an additional 3 minutes on High or 6 minutes on Medium, or until a knife inserted halfway between the center and side comes out clean.
  9. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
