Cheesy triangles offer a crispy, savory snack with a gooey cheese center, perfect for appetizers or casual gatherings, appealing to cheese lovers and snack enthusiasts alike.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb hamburger
  • pinch of cayenne
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup cheese spread or 8 cheese wedges
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups bread crumbs
  • oil

Instructions

  1. Put hamburger in a bowl and add cayenne and salt.
  2. Divide the hamburger mixture into 8 portions and flatten each into a triangular shape.
  3. Press a cheese wedge or cheese spread in the center of each triangle and seal the edges evenly around the cheese.
  4. Beat eggs in a bowl and spread out bread crumbs on a plate.
  5. Dip each triangle into the beaten eggs, then coat with bread crumbs evenly.
  6. Heat oil in a skillet. (You can also deep fry.)
  7. Repeat dipping triangles into egg and bread crumbs a second time for extra coating.
  8. Fry each triangle in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
  9. Drain on paper towels before serving.
