Ingredients

  • 8 boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup herb seasoned stuffing
  • 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can crabmeat, drained
  • 1/4 cup chopped green peppers
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal, crushed

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle the inside of each chicken breast with salt and flatten by pounding.
  2. Prepare the filling by mixing the beaten egg, herb-seasoned stuffing, cream of mushroom soup, drained crabmeat, chopped green peppers, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard.
  3. Place the filling inside each flattened chicken breast and roll up around the stuffing.
  4. Dip each rolled chicken breast in melted butter, then coat with crushed Rice Krispies cereal.
  5. Place the seam side down in an ungreased shallow baking dish and sprinkle lightly with garlic powder.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 1/2 hours until cooked through and golden.
