Ingredients

  • 10 chicken breasts, skinned and boned
  • 2 cans chicken soup
  • 1/2 can water
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2/3 cup cooking sherry
  • 1 large can mushrooms
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the seasoned chicken breasts in butter in a large skillet until golden.
  2. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. Add chicken soup, water, mushrooms, cooking sherry, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
  4. Cook the mixture for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Place the browned chicken breasts in a baking dish.
  6. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
  7. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour until cooked through and tender.
