Ingredients

  • 2 whole fryers, boiled and boned
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 can Pet milk
  • 1 can cream of chicken
  • 1 can cream of mushroom
  • 1 package Pepperidge Farm herbal stuffing mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt butter and sauté chopped onion until tender.
  2. Add Pet milk and cream of chicken and mushroom soups; bring to a bubble.
  3. Add boiled, boned chicken pieces to the mixture and cook over low heat until the mixture thickens.
  4. In a separate bowl, pour the stuffing mix and make a paste with chicken broth and water.
  5. Spread the stuffing mixture on top of the chicken and sauce in an oblong baking pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and bake an additional 5 minutes until melted.
