Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. chicken cutlets
  • 1 pkg. fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup flavored breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups boiled water
  • 2 bouillon cubes
  • Muenster cheese slices

Instructions

  1. Marinate cubed chicken cutlets in beaten eggs in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 4 hours.
  2. Mix the marinated chicken with flavored breadcrumbs.
  3. Brown the breadcrumb-coated chicken in skillet with margarine until cooked through and crispy.
  4. Prepare a broth by boiling water and dissolving bouillon cubes.
  5. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet during cooking if desired.
  6. Top the cooked chicken with slices of Muenster cheese and serve with the broth as a side or sauce.
