Ingredients

  • 1 lb. frying chicken
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 (2 lb.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco

Instructions

  1. Brown the frying chicken in butter.
  2. Sprinkle chili powder on the chicken when pieces are turned.
  3. Remove the chicken from the pan.
  4. Add chopped onions and minced garlic; cook until tender.
  5. Add canned tomatoes, tomato paste, dry mustard, salt, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and Tabasco.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  7. Return the chicken to the pan; cover and simmer until cooked through.
  8. Serve the chicken and sauce over cooked noodles.
