Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean sausage
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. long grain rice
  • 1 envelope Lipton chicken noodle soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. water

Instructions

  1. Saute sausage and drain.
  2. Saute vegetables (green pepper and onion) and drain.
  3. Cook the Lipton chicken noodle soup according to directions.
  4. Add 1 cup of water and 1 cup of rice to the soup, then cook until rice is tender.
  5. Combine cooked sausage, vegetables, and rice mixture with the soup.
  6. Add cream of chicken soup and mix well.
  7. Pour everything into a deep casserole dish and bake for one hour or until browned.
  8. Drain grease from the top when done.
