Ingredients

  • baking powder biscuits
  • margarine
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 cups canned or cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup drained peas
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Bake baking powder biscuits, split and spread with margarine.
  2. Fry chopped onion and celery in oil until onions are soft and clear.
  3. Stir in cream of mushroom soup mixed with milk.
  4. Heat and stir so it doesn't stick.
  5. Add diced cooked chicken.
  6. Add drained peas.
  7. Heat until hot only.
  8. Add salt and pepper, if needed.
  9. When the chicken mixture is bubbly hot, spoon it between and on top of the biscuits.
