Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. chicken breasts
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 4 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1 tsp. parsley, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 bay leaf
  • dash of hot sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook chicken in water to cover and save broth.
  2. Bone chicken and cut into small pieces.
  3. In a large, heavy saucepan, sauté onions, garlic, and celery in hot drippings.
  4. Add parsley as the mixture cooks.
  5. Add tomato sauce, tomato soup, tomato paste, and seasonings to the saucepan and simmer.
