A savory chicken and spinach braid wrapped in crescent rolls, filled with ricotta, Parmesan, and Provolone, perfect for a delicious family dinner or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 c. Ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 heaping tsp. minced garlic
  • 3 slices Provolone cheese
  • 1 large pkg. crescent rolls

Instructions

  1. Boil chicken breasts and dice them.
  2. Squeeze water out of frozen chopped spinach.
  3. Combine diced chicken, spinach, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and minced garlic in a bowl.
  4. Arrange crescent rolls into a rectangle, pressing edges together to seal.
  5. Place the chicken spinach mixture in a line down the center of the crescent rectangle.
  6. Top the filling with slices of Provolone cheese.
  7. Cut the dough on both sides of the filling into strips.
  8. Alternately lift each strip up and over the filling, braiding the dough.
  9. Bake according to crescent roll package instructions until golden.
