Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cans kidney beans
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • red crushed pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet; add black pepper and chopped onions.
  2. Simmer the mixture for 10 minutes.
  3. Add tomato sauce and kidney beans; stir well.
  4. Mix in chili powder, salt, and red crushed pepper to taste.
  5. Cover and cook over low heat for approximately 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
