Creamy taco pasta shells stuffed with seasoned beef, topped with cheeses, tortilla chips, and sour cream, perfect for a flavorful family dinner or casual get-together.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed and softened
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 18 jumbo pasta shells, cooked, rinsed and drained
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 3 green onions
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 c. taco sauce
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. crushed tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet until browned.
  2. Add cream cheese, salt, and chili powder to the beef and simmer until combined.
  3. Meanwhile, toss cooked pasta shells with melted butter and fill them with the beef mixture.
  4. Arrange the filled shells in a buttered baking pan.
  5. Pour taco sauce over each shell.
  6. Cover the pan with foil and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
  7. Uncover, then top with shredded Cheddar, Monterey Jack cheese, and crushed tortilla chips.
  8. Bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from oven, then top with sour cream and sliced green onions.
