Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • garlic salt to taste
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • oil

Instructions

  1. Brown and drain the ground beef.
  2. Add chopped onions, shredded Cheddar cheese, oregano, cumin, garlic salt, and chopped green chilies to the beef and mix well.
  3. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture on each wonton wrapper.
  4. Follow the package instructions for folding, wrapping, and sealing the wontons.
  5. Deep fry the wontons for 1 1/2 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm.
