Ingredients

  • 4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. red pepper
  • 2 cans (26 oz.) tomato soup
  • 3 cans Brooks chili beans
  • 4 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can water
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef, chopped onions, and chopped green pepper in a skillet.
  2. In a large pot, combine tomato soup, chili beans, chopped onions, chopped green pepper, water, chili powder, red pepper, minced garlic, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
  3. Add the cooked meat mixture to the pot.
  4. Simmer the chili for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
