Chili(Real Hot!)
A fiery, hearty chili packed with ground beef, beans, and hot peppers, perfect for spice lovers seeking bold flavors and a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 large onion, chopped ⓘ
- 3 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil ⓘ
- 1 large clove garlic, crushed ⓘ
- 1 small can tomato sauce ⓘ
- 1 large can red kidney beans (with liquid) ⓘ
- 4 to 6 hot peppers, liquefied in blender ⓘ
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper ⓘ
- 4 Tbsp. hot chili powder ⓘ
- 4 Tbsp. beef bouillon granules ⓘ
- 1 tsp. cumin ⓘ
- 1 tsp. sage ⓘ
- 1 tsp. black pepper ⓘ
- 6 oz. water ⓘ
Instructions
- Saute chopped onion and crushed garlic in vegetable oil until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned and meat changes color.
- Liquefy hot peppers in a blender and add to the pot.
- Stir in tomato sauce, red kidney beans with liquid, cayenne pepper, hot chili powder, beef bouillon granules, cumin, sage, and black pepper.
- Add water and simmer the chili for approximately 1 hour to develop flavors.
- Serve hot, optionally over prepared Uncle Ben's wild rice mix.
