Ingredients

  • 2 to 2 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 qt. crushed tomatoes
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans light red kidney beans
  • 1 chili block
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 large onions
  • 1 1/2 large bell peppers
  • 1 tsp. Accent
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. black pepper
  • pinch of red cayenne pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. game seasoning
  • 1 tsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup onion bits
  • 2 Tbsp. hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger meat with small amount of seasonings.
  2. Add onion bits; cook until done.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Saute onions and bell peppers in oil; drain.
  5. Add to hamburger meat.
  6. Add crushed tomatoes, kidney beans, chili block, and seasonings.
  7. Stir well.
  8. Cook for about 2 1/2 hours.
