Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups sliced celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 (16 oz.) can bean sprouts
  • 1 (16 oz.) can French-style green beans
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onions in a large skillet or pot.
  2. Add the sliced celery, chopped green pepper, bean sprouts, green beans, mushrooms, and canned tomatoes.
  3. Season with garlic salt, salt, and chili powder.
  4. Cover and simmer the mixture for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
