Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 package pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Add sugar to beaten eggs and mix well.
  2. Add flour and baking powder to the egg mixture and mix thoroughly.
  3. Stir in chopped dates, chopped walnuts, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch pan.
  5. Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Cool completely and cut into squares.
