Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 (6 oz.) package chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites, salt, and cream of tartar on high speed until stiff peaks form.
  2. Add sugar and vanilla to the egg whites and mix well.
  3. Gently fold in chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a brown paper-covered cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 25 minutes until lightly golden.
