Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 (3 oz) package candied fruit mix, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and chocolate together over low heat.
  2. Beat in sugar and cool.
  3. Beat in vanilla and eggs.
  4. Sift dry ingredients together and add to chocolate mixture.
  5. Add raisins, chopped candied fruit, and chopped nuts.
  6. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
