Ingredients

  • 20 Oreo cookies
  • 5 Oreo cookies
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Spread crushed Oreos in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch ungreased pan.
  2. Melt the butter and unsweetened chocolate in a double boiler.
  3. Add the beaten eggs to the cooled chocolate mixture, then add the confectioners sugar.
  4. Spread this mixture over the Oreo crust and freeze for 25 minutes.
  5. Soften the vanilla ice cream and mix in the creme de menthe.
  6. Pour the ice cream mixture over the fudge layer.
  7. Crush 5 Oreos and sprinkle on top of the dessert.
  8. Freeze overnight before serving.
