Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in the order given.
  2. Beat until smooth.
  3. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake at 400° for about 7 minutes.
  5. Cool; frost half of flat side with white icing, half with chocolate icing.
