Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 13 oz chocolate-hazelnut spread
  • 1 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1 cup chopped toasted and skinned hazelnuts
  • 5 oz white chocolate baking square, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Beat butter and sugars until creamy; add chocolate-hazelnut spread and melted chocolate, then mix well.
  3. Add vanilla and eggs, beating until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate pieces and chopped hazelnuts.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are golden.
  9. Remove cookies from oven and let cool slightly.
  10. Drizzle cooled cookies with melted white chocolate and let stand until the chocolate is set.
