Ingredients

  • 4 c. shredded green cabbage
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. sour cream or plain yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. grated onion
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. diced green bell pepper
  • 1/2 c. diced red bell pepper

Instructions

  1. Crisp the shredded green cabbage in ice water for 1 hour; drain well.
  2. Mix the shredded cabbage with diced green and red bell peppers.
  3. Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, grated onion, celery seed, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  4. Toss the cabbage and peppers with the dressing until evenly coated.
  5. Stir in dry roasted peanuts before serving.
