- Cut butter into flour with a pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse meal.
- Stir in chopped pecans.
- Press mixture onto the bottom of a 13x9 inch pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Allow to cool.
- Beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 cup of thawed Cool Whip at medium speed until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
- Whisk together the pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes or until smooth.
- Spread the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Chill for 10 minutes.
- Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
- Cover and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Cut into squares and serve.
