- Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Melt butter and brown sugar together, bringing to a boil for 2 minutes.
- Place a layer of saltine crackers on two cookie sheets.
- Pour the melted butter and brown sugar mixture over the crackers, spreading evenly.
- Bake in the oven for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven and immediately spread the chocolate chips over each cookie sheet.
- Allow the chocolate chips to melt for about 5 minutes.
- Spread the melted chocolate around the crackers to cover every cracker.
- Add toppings of choice such as sprinkles or sugar.
- Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour to set.
- Break into pieces and serve.
