Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 lb. oleo
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sour cream

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Bring the oleo, water, and cocoa to a boil in a saucepan.
  3. Add the boiling mixture to the dry ingredients and blend well.
  4. Add baking soda, eggs, and sour cream; mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cookie sheet pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes, no longer.
