Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 1/2 cups soy sauce
  • 3 small onions, chopped
  • 2 cups celery
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and cook until softened.
  3. In a separate pot, bring 2 cups of boiling water to a boil.
  4. Cook the rice in the boiling water until tender.
  5. Drain the cooked rice and set aside.
  6. In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, soy sauce, cream of mushroom soup, chopped onions, celery, and cooked ground beef.
  7. Mix well and pour into a casserole dish.
  8. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 1 hour.
