- Fold the dry mixture into the creamed mixture.
- Fold in the remaining nuts and cherries.
- Pour batter into a greased tube pan and bake at 300°F for 1 hour and 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely before serving; the cake freezes well.
