Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 7 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Add buttermilk and remaining ingredients.
  3. Mix well; place in a covered bowl in refrigerator.
  4. Use a little each day.
  5. No need to let rise.
  6. Knead a little before cutting.
  7. Grease both sides of biscuits.
  8. Bake at 400° for 20 to 30 minutes.
  9. If you don't use all the dough at once, punch dough down daily.
  10. It will keep a week or longer.
