Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix margarine, beaten egg, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, brown sugar, and flour in order, except nuts.
  2. Press the mixture into a well-greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
  3. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top and press slightly into the batter.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 to 20 minutes.
