Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle yeast over warm water and let it activate.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine sugar, salt, cinnamon, and melted butter.
  3. Stir in the activated yeast mixture.
  4. Beat in 1 1/2 cups of flour to form a dough.
  5. Add raisins to the dough.

  11. Place the shaped dough in a greased bread pan.
  12. Cover and let it rise for 30 to 40 minutes.
  13. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
