Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh or frozen haddock or other white fish
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen shelled shrimp
  • 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can minced clams
  • 1/2 large green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup dry white or red wine
  • 3 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. basil

Instructions

  1. In a 3-quart saucepan, cook green pepper, onion, and garlic in oil until tender.
  2. Add undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, wine, parsley, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bring to boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Cut fish into 1-inch pieces and add to the tomato mixture.
  5. Add shrimp and cook for about 10 minutes.
  6. Add undrained clams and cook for about 5 minutes.
