Instructions
- Sift together the flour, salt and soda.
- Melt the chocolate in the hot coffee in small saucepan over low heat. Cool.
- Cream the Crisco and brown sugar. Add the egg and chocolate mixture. Cream together.
- Measure the sour cream.
- Add alternately with the dry ingredients. Stir in the coconut.
- Drop by teaspoon onto greased baking sheets.
- Bake in a 375° oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Frost while warm.
- Sprinkle tops with coconut.
- Store in a tightly covered container.
- Makes 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
