Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime jello
  • 3/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • 2 medium bananas
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c. maraschino red cherries
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Dissolve lime gelatin in 3/4 cup boiling water.
  2. Let cool in refrigerator; do not let get firm.
  3. Blend cream cheese and mayonnaise.
  4. Add drained pineapple, diced bananas, and chopped pecans.
  5. Add drained, diced cherries.
  6. Stir this mixture into gelatin.
  7. Whip cream into soft peaks.
  8. Fold cream into gelatin mixture.
  9. Pour into mold or 9 x 12-inch Pyrex dish.
  10. Let chill 5 hours or overnight; cover well.
