Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup margarine, softened
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 2/3 cups broken pretzels
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces whipped topping
  • 1 (6 ounces) package strawberry gelatin

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine and 3 tablespoons sugar in a mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
  2. Stir in broken pretzels.
  3. Press the pretzel mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before adding the filling.
