Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 2 onions
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1/4 green pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 cans dark kidney beans

Instructions

  1. Cut up bacon and fry with chopped onions in a large skillet or pot.
  2. Drain off excess grease. Cut up celery stalks and green pepper.
  3. Drain the kidney beans from the cans.
  4. Combine the cooked bacon and onions, celery, green pepper, tomato soup, vinegar, dry mustard, sugar, and kidney beans in a baking dish or casserole.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
