Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chopped raisins
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 cups puffed rice
  • 1 bag coconut

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt margarine, sugar, raisins, egg, and milk. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes.
  2. Add puffed rice, salt, and vanilla to the mixture.
  3. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Cool slightly.
  5. Spoon by tablespoons onto coconut and roll to coat.
  6. Chill until set.
