- Cream shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar, and eggs until fluffy.
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt to the creamed mixture and mix well.
- Add cooked raisins and shape the dough into small balls.
- Roll each dough ball in sugar and place on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes.
