Ingredients

  • 2 cans French-style beans
  • 1 lb Velveeta cheese
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 3 cups cooked, diced chicken
  • Ritz crackers
  • Slivered almonds
  • French fried canned onions

Instructions

  1. Put Ritz crackers in a buttered casserole dish.
  2. Season the French-style green beans with Beau Monde seasoning.
  3. Heat the Velveeta cheese in the mushroom soup until melted and smooth.
  4. Layer the cooked, diced chicken over the crackers.
  5. Add the seasoned green beans on top of the chicken.
  6. Pour the cheese and mushroom soup mixture over the layered ingredients.
  7. Cover the casserole with crushed Ritz crackers and slivered almonds or canned French fried onions.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes, covering part of the time.
