Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. coconut
  • 2 c. cornflakes

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine with white and brown sugar until fluffy, then add well beaten eggs, vanilla, and salt.
  2. Sift flour, baking powder, and baking soda together.
  3. Add coconut and cornflakes, crushing them a little bit.
  4. Bake at 350° on greased cookie sheets for 8 to 10 minutes.
