- Sift together the sifted flour, baking powder, salt, and celery seed.
- Cut in the butter using a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add milk to the cottage cheese with pineapple and stir into the flour mixture.
- Gather the dough on a floured board and roll to 1/8 inch thickness.
- Cut into 1/2 inch strips, each 3 inches long.
- Place the strips on a greased baking sheet, twisting or laying flat and pricking with a fork.
- Sprinkle the strips with paprika and additional celery seed if desired.
- Refrigerate until ready to bake.
- Bake at 425°F for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Remove from oven and transfer to cooling racks, serve warm.
