Crab Rounds are savory bites featuring tender crabmeat and cream cheese, wrapped in bacon, perfect for appetizers or entertaining guests with rich, flavorful, and satisfying tastes.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. crabmeat
  • 8 oz. chive cream cheese, whipped
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. minced green onion
  • 15 slices white bread with crusts trimmed
  • 1 lb. bacon

Instructions

  1. Remove any remaining pieces of shell or cartilage from crabmeat.
  2. In a bowl, combine crabmeat, whipped chive cream cheese, chopped parsley, and minced green onion. Mix well.
  3. Spread each slice of bread with a heaping tablespoon of the crab mixture and roll the bread in a jelly roll fashion.
  4. Cut each roll into thirds.
  5. Cut bacon slices in half.
  6. Wrap one piece of bacon around each bread roll.
  7. Secure with a toothpick.
  8. Place the wrapped rolls on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes, turning once during baking.
