Ingredients

  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 c. coarsely crushed crisp rice cereal
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1/3 c. margarine, softened
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 24 pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Combine the shredded Cheddar cheese, all-purpose flour, crushed rice cereal, crumbled bacon, salt, dry mustard, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper in a large bowl, stirring well.
  2. Add the softened margarine to the mixture and stir with a fork until well blended.
  3. Sprinkle cold water evenly over the mixture and stir with a fork until a dough forms a ball.
