Crabmeat Dressing Duhon

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper ⓘ
- 1/4 cup chopped celery ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onion tops ⓘ
- 4 eggs, beaten ⓘ
- 4 cans claw or fresh lump crabmeat (26 oz.) ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice ⓘ
- 1 1/4 cups Pepperidge Farm seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne ⓘ
- 1 cup half and half ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper ⓘ
- 1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard ⓘ
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt ⓘ
- 1/8 teaspoon Tabasco ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except crab and bread crumbs in a mixing bowl.
- Mix well to blend all flavors.
- Add bread crumbs; gently mix in the crabmeat, being careful not to break up the lumps.
- Spoon the mixture into a greased baking dish, do not pack down.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes, covered with foil.
- Remove the cover and bake for an additional 10 minutes, uncovered, until lightly browned.
