Ingredients

  • 3 oz. butter
  • 3/4 c. chopped onions
  • 1 lb. crabmeat
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 c. Italian bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1 oz. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 large eggs
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Saute butter and chopped onions until translucent.
  2. Allow the mixture to cool.
  3. Add all ingredients together, trying not to break up crabmeat lumps.
  4. Place the mixture in a casserole dish.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F.
