Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen fish fillets
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. dill weed
  • 2 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 3 onions, peeled and sliced
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 pint cream

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a large casserole dish.
  2. Cover and bake at 375°F for 1 hour.
  3. Scald the cream and add it to the chowder when done.
